Desk by Jules Wabbes for Mobilier Universel

This desk is a well known design of the Belgian designer Jules Wabbes and can be dated in the early 1960s. It is manufactured by Mobilier Universel and marked on the inside of one drawer.
This desk is very attractive with the drawer unit in light wood and the black lacquered metal base and handles.
The plywood top is finished with beige laminate.
The mat chromium plated runners are on the outside of the drawers and not integrated.
This high quality desk is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use.
