This wardrobe cabinet was designed by the Belgian designer Willy Van Der Meeren for Tubax in the early 1950s.
It is a classic example of the Mid-Century Belgian social furniture design: those cabinets were used in schools and factories.
This small wardrobe cabinet has 2 lacquered metal sliding doors with the elegant wooden handels. The body is made of a black lacquered metal frame with wooden panels.
Inside there is a hanging-rod and 3 shelves.
This cabinet can be used as a wardrobe or for a variety of other storage needs.
It is in good original condition, with normal signs of age and use in an industrial environment. The doors still have their original petrol blue and light grey paint.
Often those cabinets are repainted and renovated. We’ve cleaned it thoroughly and let in its original condition as it should be for a vintage piece of furniture.
Our goal is to provide you with original vintage design.
