This beautifully detailed stool was made by Manu Belge around 1930.

Manu Belge was a Belgian manufacturer founded in Gembloux around 1875. Originally a knife maker, Louis Joseph Mathieu shifted in product types, going from surgical equipment to furniture.

This stool has a remarkable chromed steel base. It has a height adjustable seat with a black vinyl upholstery.

The piece is in very good vintage condition and is marked.
