Armchair by Josef Zotti
Armchair by Josef Zotti
This wonderful wooden chair dates back to 1911. Both coming from Austria, Zotti was a student of architect and designer Jozef Hoffmann.
The chair is made of maplewood, which was finished by ebonizing it. Ebonizing is a technique to chemically turning wood into a black color, without painting or staining. The seating and backrest are made of woven rattan.
We have 4 chairs available, each of them in similar good vintage condition, but each showing slightly different wear. The chairs do show a patina and signs of wear, consistent with age and use.
The listed price is for one piece. The seating height is 43 cm.
