Bronze Umbrella Stand by Gabriella Crespi

This sculptural umbrella stand was made by Gabriella Crespi. We date it back to the 1970s.

Crespi developed her style by transforming objects and changing their function. Her work methods recall those of Renaissance workshops, combining craftsmanship and an artistic approach.

The stand is made out of solid bronze. Its sculptural qualities allow it to function both decoratively and practically in any interior. We have added an optional wooden piece that can be placed inside the vase to serve as a stand. For example, it can hold dried branches.

The piece is in good vintage condition with signs of wear, consistent with age and use.
