G1 chair by Pierre Guariche (4)

This set of G1 chairs is designed by French designer Pierre Guariche and produced by Airborne in 1953. The chair features a black lacquered metal frame and a low, relaxed seating position with a seat height of 35 cm. A great example of mid-century French design.

The stackable chairs have a genuine vintage status and naturally show some signs of age. The fabric is a bit faded due to age and has small stains and fraying in some places. Also there is a small pinhole in the seating which does not effect the strength of this chair. These imperfections have all been photographed, so please take a close look at the pictures, they speak for themselves and accurately show the current condition of the chairs. The chairs are ready for use and if wished, we can assist you with reupholstering.
